Burnelee Excursions on Horseback

Pye Cottage

Pye Cottage is an original slab hut donated to the Gunning Historical Society by the Pye family. Located in the main street of Gunning, the house is in its original state from circa 1886 to 1887.

Take a step back in time, view a variety of documents and artefacts and enjoy reliving the historic pioneering days. Pye Cottage is probably one of the last of its kind in the district, and the last of its design, which had been used for generations past by the early settlers of the highland country.

Old Saint Lukes Studio

Old Saint Lukes Studio is situated in an historic stone building constructed in 1848 as a church and school. The gallery is home to the wood-fired ceramics of Ian Jones and Moraig McKenna.

Ian and Moraig's works are fired in a 9 metre long anagama style wood-fired kiln. Fired up only three times a year for five days, the kiln ash delivers a unique effect making these works highly sought after around the world. After these firings, a garden exhibition is held to present their new works.

Gundaroo Music Festival

The Gundaroo Music Festival - using music to bring people together.

The Gundaroo Music Festival will be a celebration of music, bringing together the finest national talent available for a one day event that will attract a crowd of more than 2500.
