Braidwood Museum

The Braidwood Museum, situated in the main street of the National Trust Heritage Town of Braidwood, was built of local granite as the Royal Mail Hotel in 1845. This grand building was bought by the Oddfellows Friendly Society in 1882 and since 1970 has been owned and operated by the local Historical Society.

The museum shows you something of the lifestyle of those early times and the dramatic events of the gold fields, bushrangers and the Chinese settlers.

Mona Farm and Historic Home Grand Opening - Charity Event

Mona has re-opened its luxury country estate and is welcoming bookings for accommodation, weddings and events. They are celebrating with a Grand Opening, with all profits going to the Braidwood Hospital Auxiliary to help purchase much needed equipment.

Featuring country rock singer Ben Ransom, jumping castles, locally sourced food, silent auction, raffles, children's entertainment, family races with prizes, licensed area - fun for all the family and raising money for a very good cause. Regular courtesy bus from Ryrie Park Braidwood to the event, some parking on site.

Braidwood Festival and Airing of the Quilt

The Regrowth Tree Planting Music Festival is responsible for planting 63,000 native plants over the past nine years.
