The Marulan General Store is a good, old-fashioned country general store with a grocery section, a newsagent, a NSW Lotteries outlet, a fantastic cafe offering gourmet country fare, and an awesome giftware section where you can pickup locally produced sweet treats, savoury eats, fashion items, homeware, gifts, jewellery and lots more.

The Marulan General Store is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. So come in and say G'day.

Long Point Lookout


Long Point Lookout bestows an inspiring view of the spectacular Shoalhaven gorge which is bisected by the Shoalhaven River. The lookout is located just outside the small village of Tallong, which is seven kilometres east of Marulan and is home to two magnificent lookouts, Badgery's and Long Point.

To access Long Point Lookout, head west of Tallong for just over two kilometres back towards Marulan, then turn left onto Long Point Road and follow to the end (approximately five kilometres).

A walking trail will take you from the lookout to the Shoalhaven River 500 metres below (90 minute return trip).

A variety of bird species and other wildlife can be sighted around Long Point Lookout including Rockwarbler, Bell Miner, White-winged Chough, Peregrine Falcon, and Brown, Yellow-rumped, Buff-rumped and Striated Thornbill.

Goulburn and District Racing Club


Goulburn has a long association with horse racing, with records indicating that racing commenced in 1838 when challenge races were held in the vicinity of the Gordon Hotel. The oldest Goulburn Cup Trophy dates back to 1883 and is currently displayed at the historic St Clair Museum. The Goulburn and District Racing Club Limited was founded in 1969 after a combined Club known as the Goulburn and District Racing and Trotting Club was disbanded.

The Goulburn and District Racing Club facilities are among the most technologically advanced in Australia today and include a multi-purpose, heritage style function area with a country atmosphere and wood fire, fully licensed public and member's bars and modern catering facilities.

A variety of marquees are available for sponsors and private functions in prime positions and strategically placed television monitors enable visitors to see all the action.

Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy at Penrose Park


The Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy at Penrose Park was established in 1984 on 75 acres of land near Berrima. Penrose Park with its various devotional areas in a setting of natural beauty, serves as a spiritual oasis open to everyone.

Penrose Park is a religious site surrounded by typical Australian bush with 43 chapels built by ethnic communities. It is very unique place in the Australian landscape. Riversdale Historic Homestead


Riversdale Homestead is a historic 1830s inn, purchased in 1875 by Edward Twynam who later became Surveyor General of NSW. Riversdale remained in his family until acquired by the National Trust in 1967. Set in flowering gardens, Riversdale is furnished as a mid-19th century colonial cottage.

Tours of the fabulous gardens are also available.

Come and enjoy a Devonshire tea on the third Sunday of each month and then take the tour.

Riversdale is a beautiful place to have a picnic or to hold a function such as weddings, christenings, parties, and special family photos.

Mulwaree High School Remembrance Museum


The Mulwaree High School Remembrance Museum includes a growing collection of primarily Goulburn and District military memorabilia, totalling about 7,000 items. The collection contains militaria from the Vietnam War right back to the New Zealand Maori War, fought in the mid-nineteenth century.

Acquisitions include battlefield relics from Gallipoli and France, prisoner of war relics from Hellfire Pass, uniforms, medals, ordnance, photos, diaries, flags, and personal effects.

The museum also focuses on collecting information and exhibits on men and women from the district that served in wars.

A Remembrance Corridor along the eastern and northern boarders of the school is comprised of an Australian native tree for every Goulburn and District service man or woman killed in active service during the two World Wars and the Vietnam War.

Goulburn BMX Park


The BMX track has been designed and reconstructed with State Government funding gained by Goulburn Mulwaree Council with runs designed for all levels of skill.

ANZAC Day in Goulburn


ANZAC Day will begin with the Dawn Service at the Remembrance Wall in Belmore Park.

At the conclusion of the Dawn Service a short Service will be conducted at the War Grave section at the general cemetery.

The ANZAC march will form at 10.30am and commence at 11.00am.
