The Saddle Camp


The Saddle Camp is located just ten minutes from Braidwood and is where they make your horsey dreams come true!

Braidwood Museum


The Braidwood Museum, situated in the main street of the National Trust Heritage Town of Braidwood, was built of local granite as the Royal Mail Hotel in 1845. This grand building was bought by the Oddfellows Friendly Society in 1882 and since 1970 has been owned and operated by the local Historical Society.

The museum shows you something of the lifestyle of those early times and the dramatic events of the gold fields, bushrangers and the Chinese settlers.

Market Garden Produce Stall


Selling fresh, clean, chemical free vegetables, preserves and baked goods in the Courtyard of 56 Wallace Street, Braidwood every Saturday morning from 8.30am until 12.00 or sold out.

Wynlen House is a small urban micro farm specialising in offering a broad range of seasonal vegetables all year round.

They also run workshops to show people how to grow vegetables, garlic, and raise small farm animals on a large suburban block and offer slow food events to showcase the benefit and deliciousness of produce grown locally, without chemical inputs and picked fresh.

Braidwood Festival and Airing of the Quilt


Annually, the fourth weekend in November sees the Festival of Braidwood celebrated with hundreds of quilts adorning the main street, displayed in various places and sold at Quilt and Craft markets.

A visit to this famous Quilt Event is a must.
