Mudgee Readers Festival

The Mudgee Readers' Festival has been established to celebrate the joy of reading. This is a 'readers' festival, not a 'writers' festival. Organisers figure that everyone reads, but not everyone is interested in writing a book of their own.

The Mudgee Readers' Festival provides an opportunity for you to sit back and let the authors' stories wash over you, as well as having a chance to put your own curly questions to the authors.

Flavours of Mudgee

Flavours of Mudgee is a free community street festival event which brings together local stallholders and their regional wine, food, and produce. The street festival sees the closure of Market and Church Streets as crowds gather at the culmination of the annual Mudgee Wine and Food Festival.

Entertainment, face painting, and balloons for children complement the food and wine offerings at an event which is for locals as much as visitors.

Flavours of Mudgee is the perfect showcase of local offerings which helps to build the brand of local businesses, and demonstrate the diversity of the local tourism industry.
