The Lion of Waterloo - Australia's last pistol duel

The Lion of Waterloo in Wellington was built in 1841 and licensed in 1842 and is the oldest tavern still operating west of the Blue Mountains. The Lion of Waterloo was once a passenger stop for the Cobb and Co* and is touted as the site of the last pistol duel in Australia in 1854.
