Orange F.O.O.D Week


The shires of Orange, Cabonne and Blayney are known as 'The Food Basket' of NSW. Each year F.O.O.D. Week (Food Of Orange District) supports local produce and 'fine food' with an annual event held over 10 days in April, showcasing the producers, their products, the local chefs and restaurants, and other enterprises that provide the region with its great reputation for fine food and wine.

Offering everything from wine tasting to farm gate tours, cooking demonstrations, cabaret, music and picnics to a huge 'Night Market' and Forage, plus the 100-Mile Dinner hosted by the F.O.O.D Week committee and the people of Molong, featuring dishes made from local produce sourced within a 100 miles of Orange.

Banjo Paterson Australian Poetry Fesival 2016


Orange and its surrounding region celebrate the Banjo Paterson Australian Poetry Festival in February every year.

Andrew Barton (Banjo) Paterson was born at 'Narrambla' Orange on 17 February 1864. Banjo is an Australian legend. He lived in Yeoval until he was about seven. This festival highlights not only Banjo Paterson but is an opportunity to celebrate all Australian Poetry and Poets in general.

Orange Wine Festival (Wine Week)


Orange Wine Festival, which was formerly known as Orange Wine Week, is now days of events and activities highlighting the region's premium wines through wine shows, tastings, educational workshops and celebrations with local produce.

Orange Wine Week is an annual 10 day festival held in October at various locations in and around the Orange region. The festival features over 100 individual events ranging in size from a simple high tea to the wine week markets catering for upwards of 3,500.
