Arrawarra-Corindi Beach


The southern end, on Arrawarra Headland Road, provides access to Arrawarra Headland Reserve. The reserve boasts facilities including picnic tables, toilets, beach shower, and a gravel boat ramp.

The northern end (accessible via Beach Road) of Corindi Beach has a local shop, tennis courts and a caravan park. The caravan park has picnic shelters, barbecue facilities, playground area, toilet amenities, and beach showers. Corindi Beach is a great area for surfing, swimming and for snorkelling enthusiasts. There are also great rock pools for the little ones. The beach is patrolled for the summer school holidays.

Woolgoolga Beach


Popular for surfing, fishing, diving and snorkelling, Woolgoolga Beach is home to the Woolgoolga Surf Life Saving Club and is patrolled daily during most of the summer.

Woolgoolga Beach boasts tidal rock platforms which are popular with the children, a boat ramp, beach showers, toilets, and change rooms. The beach is within close proximity to cafes, boutique clothes shops, accommodation, children's playground facilities, electric barbecue areas, and sheltered picnic areas.

Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre


Yarrawarra is situated in the homelands of the Garby Elders and the Gumbaynggirr people. Surrounded by tranquil bushland, pristine beaches and abundant wildlife. The Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre boosts a first rate Bush Tucker Cafe, exceptional Indigenous art gallery, cultural programs, accommodation, events centre and Cultural Heritage Research Unit. Special events include Aboriginal art classes, Gumbaynggirr lingo classes, story sessions, dance shows and instruction, clay modelling classes, traditional basket weaving, and tours of Aboriginal sites.

The Wadjar Regional Indigenous Art Gallery showcases the works of regional indigenous artists, artisans, and craftspeople. It is also the home of the Annual Saltwater Freshwater Indigenous Art Award. The gallery features an extensive display of regionally produced traditional and contemporary arts and crafts, books, clothing, CDs and gift ware.

Yarrawarra is located at Corindi Beach, midway between Coffs Harbour and Grafton.

Woolgoolga Art Gallery


Woolgoolga Art Gallery is a community based gallery run by volunteers. There are regular exhibitions, classes and workshops in a variety of arts and crafts. All exhibition items are for sale.

The Lillipilli Art Exhibition is a major exhibition which has been running for 30 years and attracts a hung range of entries both local and further afield.

Woolgoolga Creek Flora Reserve


Large open grassed area and walking tracks in rainforest and Wedding Bells State Forest. Picnic facilities available.

Sherwood Nature Reserve is located west of Woolgoolga and incorporates open forests, heaths and sandstone escarpments.

The reserve stretches in narrow corridors from a rare strip of lowland subtropical rainforest along Woolgoolga Creek to a larger area further north-west that conserves a rugged sandstone range towering over the Orara Valley.

Moonee Beach


Moonee Beach is not patrolled though is very popular with fishing enthusiasts. Moonee Beach Reserve, where Moonee Creek meets Moonee Beach, is a popular area for locals and visitors alike with smaller children. The reserve offers shallow water for the younger children and many parts of the creek are shaded by trees hence the perfect place to sit in the refreshing water with the little ones. The reserve boasts many facilities such as a playground, picnic shelters, barbecues, toilets, beach showers, a takeaway shop and a caravan park. You can also take a stroll to the headland via the boardwalk bridge, across the creek, and then follow the bush paths.

Sapphire Beach


Just north of Coffs Harbour, there are a few access points to the beach - take Sapphire Beach exit and access it via Crystal Waters drive, which offers playground facilities, parking and beach showers or a little further along the highway turn off at Split Solitary Road through the new North Sapphire Shores Estate and you will find Beachstone Cafe, a fabulous kids playground, parking, toilet facilities and beach access.

Woopi Tri Festival


The Woopi Tri Festival has a 'tough kids beach challenge', two kilometre and five kilometre fun run, novice triathlon and full triathlon. It is a community event run by volunteers with all proceeds going to local charity. The triathlon attracts international professional triathletes as well as beginners and everyone in between. The event has been running for over 25 years.

Curryfest


Curryfest celebrates the unique Punjabi heritage of Woolgoolga, immediately obvious from the Sikh temple on the hill as you enter town. For the last ten years thousands have descended on the beachside town to soak up Indian music and dancing and sample curries from all over the world.

The main festival day features over 150 food and market stalls, a special kids zone with rides and entertainment, a mindfulness and meditation zone for those seeking inner peace and two stages of entertainment. As well as main festival day, increasingly lead up and follow on events are encouraging a longer stay.

Taste Woolgoolga Food and Wine Festival


Celebrating and promoting the locally produced and available delights that our beautiful Woolgoolga and Coffs Coast Region has to offer.
