Ellenborough Falls

Ellenborough Falls is located on the Bulga Plateau at Elands, one hour's drive north-west of Taree on Tourist Drive 8, and are a spectacular site. At 200 metres, it is one of the longest single drop waterfalls in the Southern Hemisphere.

A timbered walkway (641 steps) wends to the bottom of the falls, complete with rest spots, providing a comfortable 30 minute walk. There is also a 10 minute walk to The Knoll which has magnificent views looking directly across to the falls.

You can drive from Wingham to the falls in approximately 45 minutes, however there are 15 kilometres of unsealed road from Bobin to the falls so please drive to the conditions of the unsealed road.

Please note that load limits have been imposed on two bridges between Wingham and Marlee. These limits are 12 tonnes on the Duffs Bridge and eight tonnes on the Marlee Bridge.

Killabakh Day in The Country

The heart of Killabakh's close knit community is its heritage hall and each year the community gets together to raise much needed funds for this hall by presenting A Day in the Country. This is not only a great fundraiser but also a unique opportunity for people to experience Country Life.

The family friendly day out includes a huge variety of quality markets stalls - plants, local produce, a stunning choice of craft, gourmet food, books, clothes, jewellery, collectibles and great Christmas gifts; novelties and quirkiness no exception!

Homemade country cooking - lunches, morning tea and fabulous desserts, hot and cold drinks, ice-cream. A truly excellent art show and craft demonstrations will be on offer throughout the day. The day will also include live music and free activities for the kids including a chance to get up close with local farm animals.

Entry is via a gold coin donation.
