Carobana Confectionery

Sealy Lookout


Only a short drive off the Pacific Highway from Coffs Harbour, Sealy Lookout and the Forest Sky Pier sits within a flora reserve in Orara East State Forest - part of the amazing state Forests of the Coffs Coast. Take a 10 minute drive from Coffs Harbour up through banana plantations to reach the lookout - it's open to vehicles during daylight hours, and your visit is free. The Forest Sky Pier offers magnificent coastal views over the city of Coffs Harbour and up and down the coastline. There are walking tracks through rainforest, ranging from one to three hours, and picnic tables and toilets are provided. Coach parking is available.

Forest Sky Pier


The Forest Sky Pier is located at Sealy Lookout, within Bruxner Park Flora Reserve, Orara East State Forest - only five kilometres from Coffs Harbour. The Forest Sky Pier offers the visitor an amazing panoramic view from mountains to the Coffs Harbour coastline. The Pier extends 21 metres out from the Lookout and stands 15 metres above the forest floor.

Access is via sealed road for the majority of the drive. Head north from Coffs Harbour on the Pacific Highway, turn left onto Bruxner Park Road (just north of the Big Banana) then left again at the ridge top onto Scenic Drive, following the road up to the Lookout.

Parking, picnic tables and toilets are available at the site.

Park Beach


Coffs Harbour's main surf beach is patrolled daily during most of the summer as Park Beach is the home for the Coffs Harbour Surf Life Saving Club.

Park Beach is a popular area for water sports, fishermen, and surfers. Swimmers should be aware Park Beach can be prone to strong rips particularly at the creek mouth. Park Beach is within close proximity to camping facilities, hotel and motel accommodation, cafes, restaurants, and the local shopping facilities.

Adjacent to the beach car park is Park Beach Reserve, which is on the banks of Coffs Creek. The reserve is a popular family area for both visitors and locals. Park Beach Reserve boasts many facilities such as barbecues, picnic tables, children's play areas, shady trees, and toilets.

Australian Surf Festival


The Australian Surf Festival will see over 500 competitors from around the nation migrate to Coffs Harbour for a shot at being crowned an Australian Champion.

Many prestigious Australian Titles will be decided across multiple surfing disciplines joint to create a full surfing festival. The surfing disciplines include shortboard, longboard, loggers and bodyboard.

The Hoey Moey is the official venue of the event and will be hosting a great range of live music, artwork, and presentations.

This is a "mobile surfing event" to ensure the competition is hosted each day in the best waves on the Coffs Coast. The event can run from as far north as Arrawarra Headland and as far south as Sawtell. Call the event hotline to find the event location and running schedule each day.
