Glenreagh Memorial Museum

Glenreagh Memorial Museum is on the main road through the village. The museum was built onto the School of Arts, funded by a Bicentennial grant.

Relics of the gold mining days, the early timber industry and old china pieces are featured.

There is an entertainment corner displaying radios from the 1920s and an early film projector.

On the Saturday of the Glenreagh Markets (first Saturday of each month), the museum is open from 9am. Entry outside of this time is by appointment only.

Orara East State Forest

Orara East State Forest is located within a short drive of Coffs Harbour and incorporates Bruxner Park Flora Reserve and Sealy Lookout. It's part of the amazing State Forests of the Coffs Coast. The forest and reserve are uniquely beautiful, with a wide variety of interesting flora and fauna. The Forest Sky Pier at Sealy Lookout is the perfect spot to stop and take in the 180 degree views of the Coffs coastline and its features, and best of all it's free!. There are parking, toilets and picnic tables available at the Lookout. For those who want to venture a little further, Halfway Point picnic area is a great place to take a break whilst enjoying the rainforest atmosphere.

Dorrigo Rainforest Centre

Learn about the National Park's flora and fauna in the intriguing education area at the Dorrigo National Park Rainforest Centre. The centre provides information, a shop, an exhibition and cafe. An interactive display guides visitors of all ages through different aspects of this World Heritage-listed rainforest, and staff can provide detailed information on National Parks throughout north-east NSW.

Dorrigo National Park provides everyone, even those who are wheelchair-bound, the opportunity to experience the unique rainforest environment.

The Rainforest Centre has an educational interpretation centre. From here you can take a stroll on the popular Skywalk walkway and lookout platform over the escarpment edge for a close up view of the rainforest canopy. The boardwalk takes you over the top of the rainforest canopy, providing magnificent views over the rainforest, down to the Bellinger Valley and sometimes as far as the Pacific Ocean.

Forest Sky Pier

The Forest Sky Pier is located at Sealy Lookout, within Bruxner Park Flora Reserve, Orara East State Forest - only five kilometres from Coffs Harbour. The Forest Sky Pier offers the visitor an amazing panoramic view from mountains to the Coffs Harbour coastline. The Pier extends 21 metres out from the Lookout and stands 15 metres above the forest floor.

Access is via sealed road for the majority of the drive. Head north from Coffs Harbour on the Pacific Highway, turn left onto Bruxner Park Road (just north of the Big Banana) then left again at the ridge top onto Scenic Drive, following the road up to the Lookout.

Parking, picnic tables and toilets are available at the site.

Dangar Falls

Two kilometres north of Dorrigo town centre is Dangar Falls, a beautiful 30-metre waterfall set amidst scenic agricultural and dairy farmland. There's a car park, a viewing platform, picnic tables and a walking trail that leads you to the river at the bottom of the waterfall. The viewing platform offers a great vantage point and excellent photo opportunity of the falls. Dangar Falls is signposted from Dorrigo town.

Sealy Lookout

Only a short drive off the Pacific Highway from Coffs Harbour, Sealy Lookout and the Forest Sky Pier sits within a flora reserve in Orara East State Forest - part of the amazing state Forests of the Coffs Coast. Take a 10 minute drive from Coffs Harbour up through banana plantations to reach the lookout - it's open to vehicles during daylight hours, and your visit is free. The Forest Sky Pier offers magnificent coastal views over the city of Coffs Harbour and up and down the coastline. There are walking tracks through rainforest, ranging from one to three hours, and picnic tables and toilets are provided. Coach parking is available.

Coramba Chamber Music Festival

In the picturesque town of Coramba, a beautiful 15 minute drive through the rolling green hills west of Coffs Harbour, sits a beautiful 102 year old concert hall with perfect acoustics. Wooden floors, high ceilings, picture windows and the sound of birds in the trees outside set the scene for a festival that brings together some of Australia's best classical musicians, to play an outstanding and unique program of seven concerts over three days, in May 2017.

Artistic Director Trish O'Brien with Artistic Advisor and Patron Paul Dean are bringing together their friends and colleagues to delight audiences with an unadulterated and unreserved 'hit list' of their favourite works. Presented by the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium in association with Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, the festival nurtures the young with a strong educational component and delight the senses of all music lovers with the highest professional standard of performance.

The Village Market Place - Glenreagh
