Phat and Black Wallaby MTB Event

Hosted by KMORC and managed by Trail Terra.

The name Phat Wallaby came to mind after a fat wallaby found itself under the bottom bracket of a MTB whilst riding down the cannonball trail with the gang behind. The first race was held in October 2011. The idea was to find the phat wallaby, and was originally a three hour / six hour race.

The race has not been run for three years now and, with the growing popularity of the seven hour / four hour format events around the city areas, Trail Terra thought it was time to bring the format up to the North Coast of NSW with the great trails available. Only Trail Terra run this event with a twist - now calling it the Phat and Black Wallaby, allowing the six hour riders to ride into the night after the four hour riders stop lapping the course.

Racing starts at 1.30pm, with the Phat Wallaby Four Hour presentation at 6.30pm, and the Black Wallably Six Hour presentation at 8.30pm.
