Wirui Estate Coffee

Welcome to Wirui Estate, where they grow premium subtropical arabica coffee in the hills of the Tweed Valley in far northern New South Wales.

The coffee farm is open to you - to discover the flavours of Australian coffee and to guide you through the plantation to reveal how coffee grows. You can share the annual harvest - either in the cup, or by joining them in picking the beautiful coffee cherries in season.

Tours are available for individuals, small groups and corporate travellers. They also welcome coffee industry professionals to share the farm experience, and participate in workshops that are available nowhere else in Australia.

Tweed Historical Society Inc

The Museum complex consists of four buildings. The Old Tweed Heads Court House is the Headquarters of the Tweed Heads Historical Society Inc., custodians of the Tweed Maritime Museum. As well as housing the historical records of the Society (which are available for research), the building contains a fine collection of historical photographs depicting the early Tweed settlements, beach and country scenes, shipping, pioneer families and commerce.

The Society was founded in 1985. Its objects are to promote, conserve and research Tweed Valley and Lower Gold Coast history. Meetings are held once a month and are open to visitors.

With local buses every half hour it is easily accessible on Kennedy Drive.

Buskers by the Creek

In a celebration of the old-fashioned art of busking, over 200 performers will showcase their talents along the banks of Currumbin creek. People of all ages will soak up the atmosphere, vibe and sunshine and immerse themselves in the melting pot of creativity, culture and surprise.
