Shimano MTB Grand Prix Round One: Glenrock
The first round in 2017 will take you to Glenrock State Conservation Area right in the heart of Newcastle.
First added to the series in 2016, this has been one of the most popular venues with a sell-out for the inaugural event. As one of the most popular mountain bike trails in the area it will be your chance to race here.
Race for four or seven hours, solo or in teams up to three. This is a social racing series that is less of an elite- and winners-only-focused competition, but its organisers thrive to deliver a positive and inclusive experience for all participants. At the centre of the race results are a General Classification (GC) determining the major winners of a race. A wider variety of age groups, which will determine the Category podiums, is offered also.
This will be the series round with ocean views that you won't want to miss! Race participants can enter ahead online, entry for spectators is free.
