RAAF Wagga Aviation Heritage Centre


The RAAF Wagga Aviation Heritage Centre showcases Air Force history, along with representing the significant involvement of the RAAF in the Riverina region of New South Wales.

The static display aircraft next to the Aviation Heritage Centre represent over 50 years of RAAF flying history and are completely accessible for the public to view and photograph.

The display comprises Air Force heritage artefacts displayed in various themed rooms, including a 'Community Room', which is devoted to a rotational display that relates to military history and/or the contribution made by people from Wagga Wagga and the Riverina region.

As the last remaining Riverina World War II Base within a network of bases incorporating Narrandera, Temora, Deniliquin, Tocumwal and Uranquinty; this Aviation Heritage Centre represents the only repository for regional specific RAAF memorabilia.

Stone the Crows Festival is a unique event designed specifically for grey nomads. It doesn't matter what sort of recreational vehicle you travel in, everyone is welcome at the annual Stone the Crows Festival. Please join them for their Walk to d'Feet MND Wagga Wagga. The name of this event reflects the hope and inspiration these special days provide for the MND Community.

The Walk will commence at 9am, starting and finishing at Apex Park, Lake Street, Wagga Wagga, and walking around Lake Albert. The Walk is approximately 5.5 kilometres and is wheelchair, stroller and dogs on lead friendly. They encourage you to walk and wheel with your family, friends and pooches.

Riverina Truck Show and Kids Convoy


Riverina Truck Show and Kids Convoy will be held on the foreshore of Lake Albert in Wagga Wagga. Featuring a convoy of cars, motorbikes and trucks driving through the streets of Wagga, followed by a Family Fun Day.

There will be market stalls, trade displays, live bands, a truck show, amusement rides, and a grand finale fireworks display.

The convoy will be travelling through the streets from 11.30am, and the Family Fun Day starts at 1pm.
