Wagga Wagga Gold Cup Racing Carnival


The Wagga Wagga Gold Cup Racing Carnival is a prestigious horse racing event, attracting a top field of horses, along with a 'fashions on the field' competition. It is one of the region's largest events.

The Town Plate Day is on Thursday and offers the eight races and a track side marquee is available.

The Wagga Gold Cup is on Friday and includes the listed Wagga Gold Cup (2000 metres). There are eight local races, and Myer Fashions on the Field.

Private marquees are available, along with bistro meals in the Champagne Bar, the Golden View Marquee and Past the Post Marquee, as well as big screens around the course, and a band. Buses from the races available.
