Griffith Boat Club


The Griffith Boat Club is a member run club on the grassy shores of Lake Wyangan. The club boasts its own club house, boat ramp, barbecue facilities, and lush green lawns.

The Boat Club hosts a variety of racing - Easter time is time for the Jet Boats racing in the sprint track and throughout the year, powerboats and formula powerboats race on the lake as well as ski racing.

Camping facilities are available, with toilets and showers. It's the perfect place for a day, weekend, or week of skiing, fishing or just relaxing.

Pioneer Park Museum


Set in 11 hectares of natural bushland, the Pioneer Park Museum features 40 historic buildings and hundreds of historical items from the early pioneering days in the area. City to Lake Fun Run


Starting is proposed be Animoo Avenue, but this will be confirmed, the City to Lake run will conclude at Lake Wyangan Picnic Ground.

Run, walk or ride the scenic route from Griffith city site of Community Private Hospital in Animoo Avenue to the picturesque Lake Wyanga Picnic ground, a distance of 10 kilometres. This year the fundraiser will benefit Griffith Base Hospital. There will be trophies for runners and riders in age categories as well as lucky number prizes. Entertainment and catering available at the finish line
