Weethalle is a small farming town on the Mid Western Highway, 60 kilometres west of West Wyalong. Visit the Weethalle Museum and see antiques from the district and a display of local history. The Weethalle Railway Station, first opened in 1923, has been restored into the Whistle Stop Cafe and features local arts and crafts and devonshire teas. The Weethalle agricultural show is held in August. The Royal Hotel is a great place to get a drink.

Wellington SpringFest

SpringFest, held in September, will prove to be bigger and better than ever.

On Friday 23rd, events get underway with the Quota Charity Art Exhibition and entertainment at the Soldiers Memorial Club.

Saturday 24th commences with Breakfast with the Poets from 7.30am -9am, The Quota Charity Exhibition from 8am - 5pm at the Soldiers Memorial Club, SpringFest Markets 8am - 3pm in Cameron Park. Street parade from 10am, SpringFest Cycle Classic from 10am, Chariot Races and childrens events in the park, school art and Vases in the Valley exhibition 8am - 5pm. Historical re-enactment in the Sunken Garden - 1.30pm. Bands, sausage sizzle in the park from 4pm-6pm in the park and Movie in Pioneer Park 6.30pm until late.
Sunday 25th commences with an 8am start for the Macquarie River Bridge to Bridge, the Quota Charity art Exhibition from 8am - 5pm and Banjo Patterson Yeoval Museum Tours from 9am - 4pm. There is something for everyone at the SpringFest weekend in Wellington!
