Greenwell Point is a fishing village 15 kilometres east of Nowra on the estuary of the Crookhaven River. Here you'll find oyster farms and fresh fish is readily available.

There are three boat ramps and picnic areas for you and your family to use, and several great restaurants in the area.

Greenwell Point Riverside Markets


Held at a waterfront setting, the Greenwell Point Riverside Market stalls include fishing gear, jewellery, homemade soft goods of all sorts, plants, natural timber products, homemade soaps, pegs and sauces, seashell wind chimes, and many more products.

This market is run by Marine Rescue Shoalhaven and is a fundraiser to assist them with offering their 24 hour daily service to the boating public of the Shoalhaven.

Greenwell Point Riverside Markets are held on the third Sunday of the month at Titania Park.

Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse


The original Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse was constructed of timber in 1882 and located as part of the Shoalhaven Signal Station on the beach 200 metres to the west of the current lighthouse. The new brick lighthouse to the south of the mouth of the Shoalhaven River was commissioned in 1904 and the old wooden lighthouse was immediately demolished.

Aside from the Keepers Cottages at South Solitary Island, this is probably the most endangered lighthouse in New South Wales, which should be of great concern to lighthouse enthusiasts and the community at large.

The lighthouse is located on the south side of the entrance to the Shoalhaven River just east of Nowra.

The Point Gallery and Craft are proud to bring you a bright and vibrant Exhibition by Local Artist Wendy Moulstone.

Wendy's work is inspired by her local surrounds of Jervis Bay and Falls Creek, the blue skies, native flora and fauna ,animals and nature . Her work is Impressionist/Abstract in Oils and Bright Colours.

Wendy has exhibited locally and her works have sold interstate and overseas.

The Point Gallery and Craft is a Community Gallery and is situated overlooking the Crookhaven River in the beautiful Village of Greenwell Point.

The Gallery is Open from Friday to Monday 10am to 4pm.

Greenwell Point Kids Fishing Workshop


NSW Fisheries runs four hour kids fishing workshops for 8-14 year olds. The kids learn how fish responsibly in a safe and fun environment.

NSW DPI fishing workshops include fun lessons on fishing techniques, information on NSW fishing rules, best methods to maximise released fish survival and a practical fishing session in a safe location.

Cost per child includes quality rod and reel, shirt, hat, tackle box, show bag.
Bookings are essential - Maximum 25 participants.

NSW DPI fishing workshops are run with the assistance of the Fishcare Volunteers and are supported by funds from the Recreational Fishing Trusts.

The festival program is designed to showcase and give young, in the middle or a bit older visitors access to events and activities across three festival hubs in Culburra Beach.
