Numbaa is situated on Comerong Island Road, a few kilometres southeast of Nowra. There is no township; farmland comprises most of the land.

A local attraction is Comerong Island, a nature reserve with a winding dirt road leading to the southern end of Seven Mile Beach. Its two picnic areas provide access to the beach and estuary areas. Access to the island is by a car ferry, which runs daily.

The Historic Jindyandy Mill is located amongst lush rural settings, which is home to the original Jindyandy Mill built by convicts in 1830.

Disc Golf South Coast


Disc Golf is a revitalising outdoor recreational activity enjoyed casually and at the highest professional levels world wide. Greenwell Point Riverside Markets

Pyree Village Art and Handmade Market


The Pyree Village Art and Handmade Market is run on the fourth Sunday of each month January to November, 9am through 1.30pm, and on the third Sunday in December at 9am through 1.30pm. It is held at the Shoalhaven Potters Workshop adjacent to the distinctive red Pyree Hall on Greenwell Point Road, at the intersection of Pyree Lane through to Culburra Beach.

Stalls feature local produce, arts, crafts, pottery, woodcraft, needlecraft, natural fibre baskets, plants, cakes, jams, clothing and much, much more. The market specialises in handmade articles and goods and not commercial produce.

A sausage sizzle is available with tea and coffee or cold drinks.
