Trees Adventure Grose River Park


The Trees Adventure Grose River Park is one of the ultimate Treetop experiences in New South Wales.

It features exciting and challenging courses that become increasingly difficult as you climb higher into the canopy, which means that you can find the right level to suit you between two metres to more than 20 metres for the thrill seekers. You will be swinging, leaping, climbing and flying through the forest, during two hours.

This will suit all the family from four year olds to 75 years and over, with 10 courses, 110 challenges and 19 flying foxes - the longest more than 100 metres.

Going from one tree to the next you will hear the sound of the Bell Birds, watch the Sea Eagle family soar overhead while the Kookaburras laugh whilst you have fun in the trees.

Purple Noon Gallery


Purple Noon Gallery is set in the Hawkesbury region at the foot of the blue mountains. The gallery opened in November 2006 and has steadily developed into one of the finest galleries in regional New South Wales and Western Sydney with regular exhibitions and a permanent collection of both local art and sculpture, with a strong focus on artwork from leading, emerging, and Indigenous artists from around Australia.

The building was purpose built and has a special ambience that is warm and inviting and perfect for displaying a wide collection of fine artwork. The sparrow-picked sandstone walls, old timbers, leadlight windows and corrugated iron compliment each other to create a building that is aesthetically pleasing and perfect for displaying beautiful artwork.

The gallery represents exciting new and established artists from the Hawkesbury region and around Australia. An extensive exhibition program is held each year featuring both solo and mixed shows.

The weekly Richmond Good Food Market is a family business that was developed to help get great produce to great people. The market is held at Richmond Park on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. It allows locals, tourists, farmers and producers to come together and celebrate the beautiful produce and strong history of the Hawkesbury.

Richmond Stamp and Coin Show


At the Richmond Stamp, Coin and Collectables Fair there will be an interesting variety of philatelic and numismatic material available to purchase from Clubs and Dealers (from NSW and ACT). Sale tables will include Stamps and Covers, Australasia, Pacifics, World, Thematics, Cinderellas, accessories, and Club Circuit Books. Also a good range of ephemera and vintage tins.

Activities at the show will include Club Exhibit and raffle.

There will be a P Stamp Cover, Booklet and Overprinted Miniature Sheet as souvenirs.

There will be food and drinks available for refreshments.

Located 100 metres from East Richmond Train Station. Free off street parking is available.

The Fair is held twice per year. The April Fair will be at Richmond NSW, and the August Fair will see a change of venue to East Kurrajong School of Arts.

Hawkesbury Visitor Information Centre


The welcoming staff at the Visitor Information Centre can provide you with a variety of information, maps, books, accommodation details, souvenirs, and a whole lot more. Feel free to drop in, and learn more about what is on offer in the Hawkesbury region. The Hawkesbury Visitor Information Centre is located opposite the Richmond Royal Australian Air Force base. On site is a great kids playground, a cafe for refreshments, and plenty of parking.
