Toboggan Hill Park


Toboggan Hill Park is set amongst natural bushland, just off Salamander Way at Nelson Bay, and offers a variety of exciting activities for all ages and abilities.

The Park's main attraction is a one kilometre toboggan track which gently weaves through wildflowers and native landscape. The park also offers a bushland mini golf course, an indoor Rock Climbing wall, 'hot' Ice Skating Rink, Splash-Down water play, plaster painting, interpretive tractor/train ride, huge outdoor maze, jumping castle, remote controlled activities and arcade games.

The entry pavilion kiosk serves refreshments. Group bookings are welcome and catering is available for children's birthday parties.

Horizons Golf Course


Designed by Graham Marsh and Ross Watson, Horizons Golf Course is a par 72, 18 hole world class championship golf course. There are four tees in total - championship, members, resort and ladies.

Surrounded by natural bushland, the course is 6,187 metres from the back tees, with four par threes, ten par fours and four par five. It offers challenges and rewards for players of all standards, who also enjoy the abundance of wildlife. This challenging course is located minutes from the crystal clear waters of Port Stephens.

Gan Gan Hill Lookout


The Rotary Club of Nelson Bay, Port Stephens Council, and the State Government have recently upgraded the site to ensure that the Lookout reclaims its status as an iconic tourist attraction for Port Stephens. Improvements include wheelchair accessibility and additional features such as the introduction of a viewing platform to the south, which has added a completely new dimension to this tourist attraction, opening up viewing to Stockton Beach, Newcastle and beyond.

Furthermore, a number of Interpretative Panoramic Display units have been introduced, to not only enhance the appeal of the Lookout but provide an understanding of the significance of the history of Gan Gan Lookout and Port Stephens

The Lookout, which is a key gateway to Port Stephens, now provides enhanced and expansive views of Port Stephens, as far north as Hawks Nest and south to Norah Head.

Teed Up Club Challenge


Teed Up Golf Tours invite you to enter a team of eight players from your golf club to compete in a unique team event. What could be better than a weekend away with friends at a wonderful location with the chance to play on three top courses and stay at the Anchorage Port Stephens?

Limited to only 10 teams, the format will be Two Ball Better Ball on day one at Magenta Shores, Two Ball Aggregate on day two at Horizons, and Single Stableford on day three at Pacific Dunes.

Ideally your team will be made up of four golfing couples from your club but it can be a mix of males and females. Whilst the competition will be intense with bragging rights and prizes at stake the aim of the event is as much about the post golf fun in true Teed Up style!
