Lansdowne Bridge

Lansdowne Bridge is considered to be one of the finest examples of colonial architecture in Australia.

Lansdowne Bridge was built by convicts during 1834 to 1836. The sandstone arch has the largest span of any surviving masonry bridge in Australia. The size, appearance and durability make this bridge an outstanding example of colonial engineering.

Bridges are not just functional, they can also be scenic and engineering attractions. Spare a few minutes to admire Lansdowne Bridge.

PacFest and International Multicultural Food Festival

PacFest is one of Australia's largest annual schools cultural festivals, with more than 800 performers, including more than 200 cultural musicians from over 30 high schools and primary schools combined across Sydney. The inaugural festival commenced in 2014 with only eight schools and to date over 30 schools are now involved. They expect these numbers to increase each year with the introduction of the diversity section for high school groups.

PacFest is a highly impactful youth initiative, which has been hugely successful at increasing the levels of social inclusion, social cohesion and achievement of Pacific, Maori and Indigenous high school students in Sydney. Created by High School Community Liaison Officers and Youth workers, PacFest uses Pacific, Maori and Indigenous Performing Arts as a platform to help young people realise that every young person is a unique individual, yet part of an awesome cultural community in Australia.

PacFest 2017 will include the inaugural International Multicultural Food Festival presenting cultural delicacies, food and drinks from all around the world!
