Wylde MTB Trail in Western Sydney Parklands


Wylde MTB Trail is Sydney's premier mountain biking trail situated within the Western Sydney Parklands.

Free of charge and purpose built to international standards, the 12 kilometre trail caters for intermediate, competent, and advanced standard mountain bike riders complete with a jump run and pump tracks, shelters and wash down facilities.

Whether in search of a group or individual experience, the trail will provide the challenges and enjoyment you seek. It is available for the National, State and local MTB event circuit so may be closed to the public during these events.

TreeTop Adventure Park Sydney


Treetop Adventure Park is a recreation activity in the tree tops, where participants slide down flying foxes, move from tree to tree on suspension bridges and enjoy many other exciting activities up to 15 metres above the forest floor. There are 108 challenges including 20 flying foxes, the longest at 250 metres.

This sensational experience is carried out at the participant's own pace with each course designed with different levels of difficulty (from children over three years old, through to easy, medium and 'adventure lover').

Treetop Adventure Park aims for minimal environmental impact on the forest. This multi-award winning park caters for people from all walks of life and all fitness levels. What a fantastic way to discover the Great Australian Outdoors!

Lizard Log


Located in Abbotsbury (via Cowpasture Road and The Horsley Drive) Lizard Log is renowned for encouraging creative play and greater interaction amongst visitors and the natural bushland setting, it is an ideal place to visit with friends and family.

Picnic shelters are located throughout the park and there is also a fantastic children's nature playground, featuring double and single flying foxes, giant swings, a slide with climbing wall, recycled timber balancing beams and sand diggers. A walking and cycling track loop is also available for scooters and bikes that goes from Lizard Log to The Dairy. Some shelters are available to hire for private use.

There are over 450 car spaces including disabled spaces and six barbecue stations including 24 electric barbecues and a large heat bead cooking area with heat bead disposal bins.

Australian Dressage Championships


The Australian National Dressage Championships is among the most significant Dressage events on the Australian National Sporting Calendar.
For spectators who love the grace, power and skill of national and international level dressage, it is an event not to be missed! Offering a massive program of four days of Spectacular Equestrian Performance including Novice to Grand Prix and GP Freestyle, (the KUR), in order to determine our Australian Dressage Champions.

Australia has sent a Dressage Team to every Olympic Games since Sydney 2000. This year all eyes are on Rio then Tokyo. The standard formula for FEI World and continental championships and the Olympic Games consists of Grand Prix, Grand Prix Special and Grand Prix Freestyle - the Kur where the athlete is free to choose his/her own choreography and music!

This year spectators can enjoy the event in style. Complete with champagne and a three course, four star dinner at the Top Spot Marquee, located overlooking the spectacular indoor arena or for those who want to concentrate on the performance and still enjoy Champagne and oysters from the Oyster Bar on the promenade, the stadium itself seats over 2000 people.

Parklands Food Fest


Western Sydney Parklands will again serve a star-studded line up of celebrity chefs, growers producers and personalities at the free 2016 Parklands Food Fest held at Lizard Log Amphitheatre.

The festival's theme of "Grow Make Eat" will showcase a whole range of interactive workshops, delicious food stalls and gardening tips on hand to take you from paddock to plate.
