Swan Hill Town Hall PACC


Swan Hill Town Hall Performing Arts and Conference Centre is an elegantly restored art deco performance space built in 1935. It still retains many of the original features.

It was previously the municipal chambers for the region, and still houses many of the original honour boards and original photos.

The Town Hall is well-loved by the locals and now hosts community events, conferences and professional touring theatre, music and dance shows.

The venue is open to the public from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and tours are available upon request.

Nyah and Vinifera State Forests


For those wanting to explore the great outdoors and capture the real beauty of the might Murray River, then a visit to the Nyah and Vinifera State Forests is a must see item while you are in the Swan Hill Region.

These majestic forests cover an area of 1,000 hectares of pristine nature including century old red gums, beautiful billabongs and lagoons, all alongside the banks of the Murray River. A key feature of these reserves is the track which acts as the 'spine' of the forest, with distinct features branching off the track along the way.

The features include wonderful camping sites, fishing spots, watering holes as well as key Aboriginal historical sites from the Wadi Wadi people such as canoe trees, middens and burial grounds.

Look out, as the forests abounds with an abundance of wildlife.

Stroll through the forests and enjoy a picnic at any one of the picnic tables scattered throughout the forests.

Swan Hill Agricultural and Pastoral Society Show


The Swan Hill District Agricultural and Pastoral Society Inc. is an annual event held on the first Friday and Saturday of October, at the Swan Hill Recreation Reserve.

The show attracts over 5,000 people, all enjoying the array of attractions, rides, entertainment and activities associated with regional shows.

The Friday night fireworks are one of the many highlights associated with this great community event.

Swan Hill Rotary Market


If you are looking for a bargain or unique treasure, then a visit to the Swan Hill Rotary Club Market is a must to do while you are in the Swan Hill region.

The Swan Hill Rotary Club Market is held on the third Sunday of the month at the Swan Hill Railway Car Park.

There are around 30 stalls selling bric a brac, plants, produce, assorted goods, books, craft, clothes, local produce and much much more.

A gold coin donation upon entry is appreciated.

Swan Hill Show


Swan Hill Show is an annual two day event held the first Saturday in October each year.

Friday 6 and Saturday 7 October, 2017, will be a jam packed two days of events, exhibitions, rides and free activities. Make it a long weekend in Swan Hill and escape the crowds in Melbourne.

Swan Hill Show is located right in the centre of town so it is easy to find. Gates open each day at 9:30am.

Friday will finish at 9:00pm when the amazing firework display concludes. Saturday will finish at about 5:00pm when the horse events are completed.

Tickets area available at the gate.

Swan Hill Region Food and Wine Festival


The Swan Hill Region Food and Wine Festival is a three day event featuring, festivities, tastings, entertainment and food and wine focused happenings all over town.

Take a cruise on the PS Pyap and enjoy fine food, wine and music as the old paddle boat makes its way along the Murray.
