Redlands IndigiScapes Centre


Redlands IndigiScapes Centre is Australia's first environmental centre for indigenous plants. The 14.5 hectare site offers 14 demonstration gardens, over a kilometre of walking tracks, an environmental information centre, conference facilities, tea garden caf?, gift shop and nursery.

Displays, workshops and events are regular features at the centre. There are a range of tours on offer incorporating bush tucker, bird watching and general information about the flora and fauna of the area. Passionate and knowledgeable staff are keen to share with visitors their vast knowledge of the environment and local wildlife.

The demonstration gardens feature a range of different themes including coastal, scribbly gum, formal, wildlife attracting, grey gum, water wise, and rainforest, wetland and creek vegetation.

Daisy Hill Koala Centre

Friends of Balmoral Cemetery Incorporated


Balmoral Cemetery sometimes called Bulimba or Morningside Cemetery, was opened in 1874 and is a fine example of a Victorian era cemetery.

The Friends of Balmoral Cemetery was formed in 2001 to protect and enhance this important historic cemetery. Exciting glimpses of Queensland's history can be seen through the monuments of pioneers, politicians and local identities. Guided tours are available by prior arrangement.
