Earth Adventure was created in 1999 to service a growing number of clients, both groups and individuals, with their outdoor adventure recreation experiences. The purpose of Earth Adventure is to provide people with safe and enjoyable outdoor recreation experiences.

Earth Adventure offers a broad range of activities and tours on demand in various locations around South Australia. They specialise in bushwalking days and extended tours, river and sea kayaking days and extended tours, rock climbing and abseiling introductions and courses, windsurfing and snorkelling, high ropes, surfing school and surfing tours.

They offer activities and tours for groups or individuals. Prices work on a sliding scale - the more people you can get involved the cheaper it will be!

Adelaide Central Gallery


Adelaide Central Gallery began in 1987 as an artist-run exhibition space and has evolved into one of Adelaide's most prominent contemporary non-profit galleries.

Monthly changing exhibitions includes both emerging and established artists working in a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, prints, photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass, video and multimedia. There is a focus on emerging artists who are ACSA graduates or associated with ACSA as current or former art lecturers and solo and group exhibitions by leading national and occasional international artists.

Exhibiting artists give informal lectures in the gallery on a regular basis. Guided tours and floor talks can be arranged by appointment for school or social groups of ten or more.

St George Church and Cemetery Tours


You are invited to experience South Australian history on a tour of St George's Church and Cemetery. Built on land given by Captain John Finlay Duff, it is unique in architecture, constructed on Kentish Masonry lines in 1848.

St George's was the first Church of England to be consecrated in the colony by Augustus Short first Bishop of Adelaide and sadly, his baby daughter was the first burial in the churchyard two weeks after.

Walking through the cemetery your tour guide will unfold the lives of South Australian pioneers and devout members of the parish such as Dr Christopher Rawson and Mary Penfold, founder of Penfold Winery, Frederick George Waterhouse, explorer and first curator of the South Australian Museum, Sir George Murray, Chief Justice, Chancellor of the Adelaide University and Lieutenant Governor of South Australia.

Tour is a must see if you love history. A real gem.

ABORIGINAL ART EXHIBITION


ASSP Gallery Port Adelaide presents at the Port Adelaide Enfield Council Public Library Greenacres, 2 Fosters Rd, Greenacres SA 5086, phone +61 08 8405 6540 a big Aboriginal Art and Craft exhibition.

The exhibition is open daily during opening hours - see https://www.portenf.sa.gov.au/page.aspx?u=2235

Featured in this exhibition are artists from around Australia, there paintings reflect the
Aboriginal Land where they were born and grown up. Most of the paintings reflect on
Dreamtime and Family History.

The paintings range from traditional to traditional/contemporary and contemporary.

Most of the artists paintings are to find around the world, and some of them accept commissions so as Conrad Blackmann who is in the stage to finish a 4m wide artwork for Helsinki/Sweden.

Very interesting are also the exhibited paintings by Aboriginal children/youth and by the artists with a disability,
