Tumby Bay

Situated on a picturesque sheltered bay 50 kilometress north of Port Lincoln. Tumby Bay is centrally located to all lower Eyre Peninsula attractions. Tumby Bay National Trust Museum


The Tumby Bay National Trust Museum holds collections relating to churches, schools, shipping, shops, early settlers, agriculture, entertainment, hospital, war and various household items.

You'll find many books of local historical interest and botanical drawings; original letters from pioneers, books and photographs.

There are displays on saddle making, communications, sporting photos and trophies. There is also a room furnished with period furniture - a kitchen, laundry, sitting room and bedroom, as well as clothing to match the period.

Lions Park


The local Lions Club members are proud to be responsible for the upkeep of Lions Park, on the Tumby Bay foreshore.

Located at the base of the jetty, the park has well manicured lawns, magnificent views, shelter from weather and free barbecues. Lions Park is a great place for a picnic, or an evening party to watch the sunset.

Island Lookout Tower And Reserve

Moody Tanks - Historic Water Storage Tanks


State Heritage listed Moody Tanks are leased by the District Council and are currently being restored.

Located approximately 30 kilometres from Tumby Bay on the Ungarra and Yeelanna Roads, the tanks were originally used to store water for the steam trains that ran close by.

Come and see the tanks and natural rock catchment area and enjoy a picnic.
