It is located in a peaceful rural setting beside the Tasman Highway. Footpaths meander through display gardens and a memorial garden featuring the native plants of south-east Tasmania, with interpretive signage. A large landscaped quarry features a pond and waterfall, a children's playground and obstacle course, and some impressive sculptures.
