Seaview Farm and Bandicoot Blu Farm Products

Seaview Farm, a destination in itself, is also home to Bandicoot Blu farm products. These have been developed over 14 years of intensive study and practical application of biological farming - a mix between organic and conventional farming involving more science than some organic practices and using more natural methods than conventional.
This practice was pursued in the firm belief that healthy soil=healthy plants and animals=healthy humans. The beef, lamb, blueberries and garlic that are produced at Seaview are completely free from any toxic chemicals.

Anyone wishing to learn more about this practice may visit the farm by appointment or come and stay for a few days in the accommodation. As well as learning more about biological farming, you can enjoy wandering around two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens.

The whole is surrounded by breathtaking views of ocean, rolling timber covered hills and distant mountains.

The farm, 7 kms out of St Marys can be reached by following Germantown Road which is opposite the St Marys Hotel. You can call to make an appointment to visit by contacting Frank on 0419 372 192.

Stables Handmade Market Tasmania, The

Showcasing Tasmanian handmade, giving preference to makers in the Break O'Day Municipality, Tasmania.
In mid 2015, a discussion was begun by a number of local artists and artisans about setting up a Makers Co-op, with a view to finding premises from which to sell hand made items. This has now morphed into a steering committee of volunteers, under the umbrella of Greater Esk Tourism. The long term plan is for the steering committee to become an independent body.
The date of the inaugural Stables Handmade Market (2 Jan 2016) was suggested to take advantage of the many visitors who come to St Marys for the New Year Races, and the racing committee has also been very supportive of our new venture.
