Brook Eden Vineyard

Brook Eden Vineyard in north-east Tasmania produces exquisite, cool-climate still and sparkling wines.
Established in 1988 on the banks of Pipers Brook, Brook Eden is nestled in a picturesque valley of rolling green hills. The vineyards are sited along an ancient ridge of deep, gravelly, well-drained, volcanic soil, with Pipers Brook on one side and a spring-fed, native wetland on the other.
At 41? south, and the start of the famed roaring forties, Brook Eden is true cool-climate viticulture. With more sunshine hours per day in summer than on the mainland and our cool, sometimes wind-swept site, our old, well-established, unirrigated vines must struggle a little. They slowly ripen their fruit during a growing season which is one of the longest in Australia.
This long slow ripening produces fruit with exceptional flavour and aroma and an ideal balance of sugar and acid. This results in elegant, aromatic wines with intense varietal flavours and distinct regional characteristics.
You can experience free tasting of award winning Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a lively Pinot Rose from our cellar door.

Providence Vineyards

Providence Vineyard is located near the township of Lilydale, in the Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania.
Providence was founded by French winemaker Jean Miguet in 1956 and is the oldest of Tasmania's modern vineyards. The two-hectare (five-acre) vineyard produces pinot noir and chardonnay and a small amount of Riesling. The original pinot noir and chardonnay vines planted by Jean Miguet in 1956 still produce fruit used in the current vintages.
You can taste the range of award-winning Providence wines at the cellar door most of the year. Closed Mondays and open most other days. Freecall 1800 992 967 to check. The vineyard also sells a range of other fine Tasmanian wines of older vintages, and your purchased wines can be shipped Australia wide free of charge.
The Tamar Valley is one of Tasmania's premium wine producing regions. The area is characterised by a cool climate, loamy soils and long ripening periods; ideal conditions for high quality grapes and distinctively flavoured wines.
The Vineyard is a 25-minute drive north-east of Launceston (27 km) on the Tamar Valley Wine Route.

Hollybank Forest Reserve

Hollybank Forest Reserve is just a 20-minute drive from Launceston.
This is one of Tasmania's most popular picnic areas and has a distinctly European flavour. In autumn, exotic deciduous trees are a colourful contrast to the natives.
A 40-minute walk passes through examples of Tasmania's major production forest types in a demonstration forest. Interpretive signs show how each forest type is harvested and regenerated.
The reserve also contains 20 kilometres of dedicated world-class mountain bike trails descending through the forest with short and long loops suitable for beginner and advanced riders.
For the more adventurous there's a ten kilometre descent called the Juggernaut that will challenge the best of riders.

Delamere Vineyard

Our passion for the region of Tasmania, at similar latitude to the Champagne and Burgundy regions in France, arises from a desire to seek out a genuine cold climate that can produce wines of classic structure, combining fruit intensity with refinement, complexity with persistence of flavour, and the ultimate expression and grape and region.
Our Tasting Room is within the winery facility, which is open from 1000 until 1700 every day of the year, except Christmas Day and Good Friday.
Your initial welcome is just as likely to be a sniff from Chilli the dog as it is a crow from a rooster. It is a place where you can relax and watch the wines being made around you; sparkling wines being set up for hand riddling, or pinot noir and chardonnay maturing in oak. Or perhaps you'd prefer to simply sit out under the pergola with a glass of wine and take in the gentle tranquil surroundings of the Delamere property.
We are a BYOF (bring your own food) facility so please bring along your basket full of goodies and we will supply the glass of godliness.

Jansz Tasmania

The Jansz Tasmania vineyard is located in the Tamar Valley, in Northern Tasmania. The vineyard lies in the heart of the Pipers River region, an area known as 'Sparkling Tasmania.'
Jansz was the first sparkling wine to be made according to the traditional Methode Champenoise. The ultra-cool growing conditions of the Pipers River region allow the grapes to ripen slowly, developing intense, delicate and refined flavours - the very essence of top quality sparkling wine. Jansz has since redefined the Australian sparkling wine genre.
Visit the Jansz wine room and interpretive centre where you can find out what makes Jansz sparkling wine among the best in the world. Enjoy a Tasmanian cheese board with your glass of Jansz overlooking the picturesque lake. As one of the very few Tasmanian specialists solely devoted to the art of sparkling winemaking, Jansz Tasmania combines a strong appreciation of the past and the traditional Methode Champenoise, with a contemporary approach, to craft a new sparkling future. Listen to the winemaker talk about the wine-making process. Jansz Tasmania produces Jansz Premium NV Cuvee, Vintage Cuvee and Late Disgorged Cuvee.
Jansz Tasmania vineyard is about a one-hour drive (55 km) from Launceston.
