An AAT Kings coach will pick you up from your hotel to commence an afternoon Uluru Sacred Sites and Sunset with BBQ Dinner tour. Travel around the base of Uluru and listen to commentary about the numerous sacred sites and features to be found at Uluru. Continue to the Kuniya Walk where your driver guide will escort you to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole. View Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the native flora, and the Aboriginal and European history of Uluru. Later visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre where you can learn more about Aboriginal culture and see Aboriginal arts and crafts. In the late afternoon travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area to witness the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset whilst enjoying nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine. After sunset travel to an exclusive venue set amongst red sand dunes and desert oak trees providing a peaceful desert setting. Enjoy a traditional Australian barbecue dinner consisting of meats and salads accompanied by a glass of wine, beer or orange juice. After dinner enjoy tea, coffee and dessert as your guide conducts a tour of the night sky describing some of the visible constellations (weather permitting), before returning to Ayers Rock Resort. Tour concludes approximately 2.5 hours after sunset, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.
