Itinerary:

Valid for 01APR17-31MAR18:
This small group tour leaves the city via St Kilda Road, Melbourne's most famous boulevard, and travels through some of the most established suburbs and popular shopping districts before heading south towards Phillip Island. A brief stop is made in the fishing village of San Remo for afternoon tea before crossing the bridge to Phillip Island. The first stop is Phillip Island Wildlife Park, which offers the chance to see many unique Australian animals such as koalas, Tasmanian devils, eagles, flying foxes, echidnas, goannas, cassowaries and other species you may not get to see elsewhere. There is the opportunity to feed kangaroos, wallabies and wombats while being shown around the park by your guide. Dinner then awaits at a local restaurant on the waterfront in Cowes. Afterwards, a short walk on the boardwalks at the 'Nobbies' can sometimes result in seeing penguins during the day waiting for their returning mate, whilst also providing the opportunity to observe the home of Australia's largest fur seal colony. As sunset approaches, move on to see the famous Little Penguins at the Phillip Island Nature Park. Explore the award winning Visitor Centre where informative displays set the scene for the amazing penguin parade. The experience here is not the standard viewing - experience the more personal "Penguins Plus" where, in a small group a Ranger will provide commentary throughout the parade in a restricted area. After the experience and a warm drink the tour takes an express journey back to Melbourne. Tour concludes between 9.30pm - 11.30pm depending on the season, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.
