The Beauty of Winter at Mount Mitchell

Rug up and explore the beautiful gardens of the Mount Mitchell Estate in winter time.

The garden is a picture of bare branched deciduous trees. Lush green hedges, significant trees and expansive lawns create many beautiful garden rooms.

The magnificent Mount Mitchell homestead and numerous outbuildings of interest create an English country scene.

The National Trust listed stables will be converted to provide guests with numerous delicious winter food and beverage options. In the coach house, Devonshire teas will be served. Delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows will satisfy the children while warm mulled wine will warm up the grown ups.

Also within the stable complex, scrumptious bread rolls will be served with Mount Mitchell pumpkin soup and Pyrenees wines will be complimented with tasty cheese platters. Fire places will be lit, whilst a fire pit will memorise and warm up our visitors outside.

Guests will be interested to hear of the historic background of the property and be treated to some early artefacts of note.

The Mount Mitchell garden is a picture in winter, beautiful frosts sparkle the lawn, morning sunshine dabbles the light and the surrounding green paddocks create a winter haven.
