Heathcote-Graytown National Park

Easily accessible by road, the Heathcote-Graytown National Park is a great place for bushwalks. Mt Ida and Viewing Rock provide views of Heathcote and surrounding areas.

Mica Grange 2016 Spring Open Garden and Sculpture Exhibition

Mica Grange is one of Victoria's most picturesque properties with its garden's highly commended within Australian Country Gardens and other top publications.

Located on the foothills of Mt. Alexander with stunning views across the Sutton Grange valley, the 40 hectare property is just 12 minutes from Castlemaine, 65 minutes from Melbourne's airport and within 80 minutes drive north of Melbourne's CBD.

Mica Grange plays host to a wide range of events ranging from open gardens, garden tours, sculpture exhibitions, musical recitals, opera, wellness and art workshops. Merging the wonders of art with the beauty of gardens is a feature of the property's popular Spring and Autumn open gardens.

The sculpture exhibitions provide sculptors from Victoria and interstate the opportunity to display their work in a natural garden setting, allowing visitors to imagine how a sculpture may enhance their own garden.

The March/April and October/November exhibitions involve up to 18 sculptors and over 70 different exhibits over these five weeks, different sculptures are exhibited on each occasion.

Relax with morning or afternoon tea, peruse garden art, home-made preserves, absorb the eclectic collection of sculptures, or simply meander, relax and take in the views.

Heathcote Visitor Centre is located in High Street in the centre of Heathcote with good access and visibility to all travellers.
