Organ Pipes National Park

The Organ Pipes, a set of basalt columns formed by the cooling and cracking of molten lava, are the most well known feature of the park. Enjoy a picnic, a walk and the spring wattle blossom.

The park is an excellent place for picnics, walks, bird observing and photography. Stand on the viewing platform - the basalt Keilor Plains all around you are part of one of the world's largest lava flows.

Walk down the path to view the 'organ pipes' - a set of basalt columns formed by lava. Look for yellowish sandstones and mudstones across the creek 200 metres downstream from the 'organ pipes'.

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience at Country Place Hotel

The Faulty Towers The Dining Experience offers a fabulous weekend getaway including dinner, show, bed and breakfast. The fun starts as the audience waits to be seated and then hurtles along for two hours of fully immersive, highly improvised comedy theatre. Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve up some madcap mayhem and a three-course meal with the audience playing the part of their restaurant diners.

Chaos in the dining room. Enter the world of the snobbish, manic Basil, his domineering wife Sybil and their hopelessly language-challenged waiter, Manuel.

Be one of the steady stream of bemused guests trying to make Manuel understand what it is you want. Ask for an ice bucket and you may just be presented with a nice bucket. A simple procedure like opening a bottle of wine can become a huge drama, and maybe during all this you might get some service, Faulty style of course.
