Byramine Homestead And Brewery

Byramine Homestead And Brewery is a historical homestead built in 1842 by the famous explorer Hamilton Hume. Classified by the National Trust 'to be preserved at all costs', because of its unique design and its local significance.

With octagonal rooms, created for the climate and also for security, as they were often under attack from Bushrangers. Originally the homestead was on the Yarrawonga Run. Today the Byramine Homestead is nestled amongst one of the largest vegetable farms in Australia. Guests are able to tour the homestead and wander the beautiful garden, home to the oldest Elm trees in Victoria.

Devonshire teas and light lunches are available. A brewery and winery has opened within the grounds of the homestead. Guests are welcome to sample the beer, wine and ciders on offer. Seasonal vegetables are also for sale, produce of the local farm Kelly Bros.

Massive Murray Paddle - Incorporating the Murray Marathon

The Massive Murray Paddle is an amazing five-day paddling adventure that raises funds to assist local community driven programs.

This paddle is 404 kilometres over five days down the Mighty Murray River. It starts at Yarrawonga and finishes at Swan Hill, passing through beautiful towns like Tocumwal and Echuca.

This paddle has been running for 49 years and assists many people and community groups in need. You can paddle the full distance 404 kilometres or you can choose to paddle only one day or half days.

The event runs from Monday to Friday and for 2017 is on November 20 to 24.

You can paddle a canoe, sea kayak, surf-ski, out rigger, stand up paddle board, prone paddle board or any home-made paddle craft you have made in your shed.

Join the Massive Murray Paddle for this amazing five day adventure. The 2016 event raised over $102,600 for charity and community services

Barooga Carols by Candlelight

They hold a Carols by Candlelight every year in Barooga Botanical Gardens.
Established in 1994 this long standing event is a sucessfull family night that is one not to be missed.
A small cost to enter this event is payable at the gate to cover the cost of this event.
They have local singers preform and of a course a visit from Santa Claus on the fire truck.
The children line up and receive a gift from Santa and get to say hello.

Yarrawonga Mulwala Kid's Festival

The 2018 Yarrawonga Mulwala Kids Festival runs from 7th to the 14th of July, with the program incorporating a multitude of activities held and hosted by a variety of businesses from Bundalong to Burramine and including Yarrawonga Mulwala.

Fun for the festival will include a variety of sporting clinics in basketball, AFL, netball and soccer, Blue Earth skills for adjudication assistance to empower and support children in team and individual environments, indoor hosted events will include a themed movie marathon, performing artists and shows for the enjoyment of all ages.

The Street Festival Day will see roving acts with performers that will entertain and amuse both young and old.

Yarrawonga Mulwala Visitor Information Centre
