Byramine Homestead And Brewery


Byramine Homestead And Brewery is a historical homestead built in 1842 by the famous explorer Hamilton Hume. Classified by the National Trust 'to be preserved at all costs', because of its unique design and its local significance.

With octagonal rooms, created for the climate and also for security, as they were often under attack from Bushrangers. Originally the homestead was on the Yarrawonga Run. Today the Byramine Homestead is nestled amongst one of the largest vegetable farms in Australia. Guests are able to tour the homestead and wander the beautiful garden, home to the oldest Elm trees in Victoria.

Devonshire teas and light lunches are available. A brewery and winery has opened within the grounds of the homestead. Guests are welcome to sample the beer, wine and ciders on offer. Seasonal vegetables are also for sale, produce of the local farm Kelly Bros.

Sun Country Food and Wine Festival - Byramine Homestead and Brewery's Vintage Release


To celebrate the 175th birthday of the Byramine Homestead, you are invited to enjoy the release of Byramine Homestead and Brewery's latest vintages. Including the 2013 Byramine shiraz, the popular Byramine sparkling shiraz and a limited edition boutique craft beer.

Massive Murray Paddle - Incorporating the Murray Marathon


The Massive Murray Paddle is an amazing five-day paddling adventure that raises funds to assist local community driven programs.

This paddle is 404 kilometres over five days down the Mighty Murray River. It starts at Yarrawonga and finishes at Swan Hill, passing through beautiful towns like Tocumwal and Echuca.

This paddle has been running for 49 years and assists many people and community groups in need. You can paddle the full distance 404 kilometres or you can choose to paddle only one day or half days.

The event runs from Monday to Friday and for 2017 is on November 20 to 24.

You can paddle a canoe, sea kayak, surf-ski, out rigger, stand up paddle board, prone paddle board or any home-made paddle craft you have made in your shed.

Join the Massive Murray Paddle for this amazing five day adventure. The 2016 event raised over $102,600 for charity and community services

Show Ski National Titles


If you love the Water Ski Shows performed at the Mulwala Water Ski Club over the Summer time, get ready to see the super sized version of it when the Mulwala NSW, Perth WA and Melbourne VIC teams compete against each other to perform the best ski show possible at the National Championships on March 24 and 25!

The Nationals will be held at the Mulwala Water Ski Park and is the perfect event to take the kids along to watch and be inspired by!

Stay on after the Friday afternoon main events, for the Freestyle and Swivel Comps Plus Team and Individual Jump Comps.

Yarrawonga Mulwala is the jewel in the crown of the Murray River region in Australia. Nestled at the western end of Lake Mulwala, the region referred to as 'Sun Country on the Murray' is blessed with long hot summers and mild winters.
