Maru Koala and Animal Park

Coal Creek Community Park and Museum is a living history museum, recreating the time of settlement and the story of the coal miners from South Gippsland.

Warrook Farm

Sheep shearing, milking, hand feeding and whip cracking - it is all in a day's fun at historic Warrook Farm.

Warrook is living history, a full working farm over 100 years old. Take a step back in time, channel your inner 'farmer' self as you experience a range of hands on activities and demonstrations at Warrook - a genuine Aussie farm experience.

Specially tailored tours are run daily and showcase the history of the farm, its wildlife, homestead and gardens. Visitors delight in hands on farm experiences and demonstrations. They can bottle feed baby calves, learn how to milk a cow, learn the art of whip cracking, see the working dog round up sheep and watch sheep shearing in the 1887 shearing shed. They can also feed kangaroos and the wombat, or view Australian and other wildlife in the Warrook Fauna Park.

For groups, billy tea, damper making and spit roast can be arranged. Visitors selecting the 'farm tour and lunch' are free to tour the recently refurbished historic homestead and gardens (circa 1907). Indeed, Warrook homestead and gardens provide a unique venue for weddings, family celebrations or group tours.

Located half way between Melbourne and Phillip Island and en route to Wilson's Promontory, Warrook Farm is an excellent stop over point for a meal break. Visitors can enjoy a country roast lunch in the homestead restaurant (seats 150) or a light snack in the caf?. Warrook offers traditional Australian farm meals and halal meals. Grantville Pirate Festival

Enjoy a great day out at the award winning Maru Koala and Animal Park at the annual Grantville Pirate Festival.

Pirate games and roving entertainers, jumping castles, face painting, dress-up competitions, play mini-golf and enjoy the animal park all for the one low entry fee. In 2016 the festival featured a live stage show by the 'Adventure Time' characters, so stay tuned for a brand new show for 2017.

Please note that the exact date for 2017 has yet to be confirmed.

Meet Pirate Pete along with other roving pirate entertainers and get your face painted or take a ride on the giant slide. See the live stage show and join in the pirate games .

The kids will love the jumping castles and pirate show bags. Then meet, pat and hand feed the koalas, kangaroos and other animals in the animal park. Halloween at Coal Creek

Halloween at Coal Creek is a great festival for all the family.

Trick or treat available for kids 16 years and under, bring your own bag to collect your goodies. The collection is from 5.30pm to 8pm.

There will also be ghost train rides, as well as many other activities including roving performers, snake busters, apple bobbing, monster bash disco and blazing bonfire from 8pm.

There is also a best dressed competition (under eight, under 16 and open).
