High Tension exhibit the same fearless intensity that has made Deafheaven one of the must-see heavy bands of the moment. Grasping sounds of traditional thrash metal, a proudly punk/hardcore ethos and rock n roll guitar tones, High Tension are deeply original, and startlingly unique. Tireless, confronting and inspiriting, front-woman Karina Utomo is a force best absorbed live. They're fresh from dominating on the 2016 national Laneway Festival tour, promoting their The Age Music Victoria Award winning sophomore album 'Bully'.
