Ellendale Pool


Ellendale Pool is a stunning waterhole naturally formed along the picturesque Greenough River surrounded by magnificent gum trees and a rocky gorge.

Ellendale Pool is a popular picnic and camping spot with toilet facilities, gas barbecues, picnic tables and shade. Dogs are permitted on a lead. There is no drinking water. Camping fees apply.

A visit to nearby Greenough is also worthwhile to see numerous well preserved historic buildings. Ellendale Pool and Greenough are a perfect stopover on your way to the state's north.

Ellendale Pool is a four-and-a-half hour drive north of Perth and a 45 minute drive south-east of Geraldton and is one of the recommended stops on the Greenough Tourist Drive.

Geraldton Airport


The Geraldton Airport is owned and operated by the City of Greater Geraldton and is situated approximately 10 kilometres east of Geraldton on the Geraldton-Mt Magnet Road.

Three Regular Public Transport (RPT) airline operators - Qantaslink, Skippers Aviation and Virgin Australia provide services from Geraldton, south to Perth and north to the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions.

The Greenough Terminal is designed for passenger comfort featuring conference facilities, indoor and outdoor seating, a licensed cafe and public showers.

Parking at the terminal includes an area for long term parking. Full checked baggage screening equipment is installed within the Greenough Terminal.
