Bull Creek

A pleasant southern Perth suburb, about 10 kilometres from the CBD, Bull. Creek is within easy striking distance of the delights of that fine city via the fast-lane Kwinana Freeway.

Bull Creek is home to the Aviation Heritage Museum of Western Australia which displays 32 aeroplanes and 34 aeroplane engines as well as an extensive collection of other related items, including flying suits, uniforms, instruments, radio equipment, models, trophies, awards, medals and photographs.

Run by the RAAF, you'll find the museum on the Air Force Memorial Estate at the intersection of the Kwinana Freeway and Leach Highway. It's open most days, except important public holidays.

The suburb slopes down to Bulls Creek, a reach of the Canning River which empties into the wide and wonderful Melville Water of the mighty Swan River system at a point about 5km to the north of Bulls Creek.

You can cruise or sail all the way from Bull Creek to Fremantle and out to sea. Like most of these river suburbs of Perth, boating, sailing and fishing are all part of the lifestyle.
