Wellington Skate Park


Come down to the Wellington Skate Park to enjoy an array of talent on skateboards, bikes and scooters, entertaining the crowds with gravity defying moves.

The skate park can be found on the corner of Ferguson Lane and Renshaw McGuir Way, just off the round-about.
The bowl was designed to emulate and improve upon the skating experience. Skaters in the bowl can move around the park without taking their feet off the board to push.

The curved walls of bowls allow skaters to ride around and across the bowl in addition to the back and forth skating you might see on a traditional half pipe.

Oxley Museum


The John Oxley Museum houses a collection of historic artefacts tracing Wellington history from 1830 to present time, containing many photographs and specialty displays.

The museum is located in the former Bank of NSW building constructed in 1883, on the corner of Warne and Percy Streets in Wellington.

The museum is staffed voluntarily by members of the Wellington Historical Society Incorporated.

Cactus Cafe and Gallery


The Cactus Cafe and Gallery displays quality art and crafts in a relaxing and unique setting. It is housed in the former Sacred Heart Infants' School built in 1929-30 and follows the Spanish mission style of architecture popular at that time.

The gallery features over twenty local or home grown artists. There is a wide range of local quality craft for sale and imported Mexican handcrafts, clothing, footwear, jewellery and handbags along with a huge array of local produce and gift ware.

Supercrawl Rock Crawling Australia


Ultimate Rock sports is running Supercrawl Australia which is a four wheel drive rock crawling event that is held each year at Wellington NSW.

The event has top international drivers from America come out and compete. There are four classes of vehicles from your modified four wheel drive to your custom built rock crawler.

The event is held over two days and they expect to get between 25- 30 competing vehicles. The vehicles have to navigate around a set course over rocks and try to get through without any penalties.

Concert: Songs and Melodies From The Greatest Operas and Musicals


Join them for an afternoon of songs and melodies from the greatest operas, West End and Broadway Musicals on Saturday 14 July from 2pm at the Wellington Civic Centre.

Performing artists: Anne Marie Gibbons (Mezzo Soprano, Hugh Francis (Tenor), Nathan Bryon (Tenor), Damian Whiteley (Bass) and Glenn Amer (pianist).

SpringFest Rotary Markets and Lions Gold Cup Chariots for Charity


Sprinfest will be held in award winning Cameron Park, with the Wellington Rotary Markets offering fresh locally made produce, plants, craft, gifts, food, coffee, children's jumping castle and more.

PCYC Time for Kids will also be hosting a fundraising event on the day which will see some local identities get locked up and "Do Time to Stop Youth Crime". They will need your support to make bail or they'll stay locked up!

PCYC Wellington will have plenty to keep the kids entertained with sumo suits, a gladiator ring, gymnastic and boxing displays.

Geurie and Wellington Lions Club have again joined forces to host the 2017 Lions Gold Cup Chariots for Charity where teams of three people are asked to enter a team and line up to see if they can be crowned champions!

Wellington Visitor Information Centre


The Wellington Visitor Information Centre is located in the beautiful, award winning Cameron Park in the centre of Wellington. The Centre is an accredited Information Centre and was first opened in 1971. The centre has recently moved into the more spacious and adjoining 'old Library'.

The Wellington Visitor Information Centre offers a wide variety of local and regional tourist information along with a range of local produce and souvenirs.

The friendly and experienced staff at the centre can advise visitors on accommodation, things to see and do, where to eat, and are happy to relay the history of Wellington.
