PJ Art Gallery

Artist Peter J Hill is known to many Australians and international art collectors for his famous equine art, Australian landscapes and true to life gum trees. Peter has been painting since the age of 19 and is still producing beautiful artworks a the age of 81. Having run large and small galleries in various states over the past four decades, Peter is now semi-retired in the quaint village of Ulmarra where he can be found painting and enjoying a chat with locals and the many tourists who drop by. Coldstream Gallery


Coldstream Gallery is located in the historic river port of Ulmarra. Situated in the original Sydney Stores department store circa 1907, this building has quite some history. Transitioned to a fine art gallery in 1975 it has grown, becoming a gallery promoting local artists and artisans predominantly from the Clarence Valley.

Continuing on with the tradition of personal service and quality they exhibit painting, wood, glass, bronze and more, there is something for everyone; from a card for mum to a collectable piece of original Australian art. Workshops and creative classes are run on a regular basis and unique onsite accommodation is available. Contact them with any workshop or accommodation enquiries.

Clarence Valley Country Muster


The stage is set for the magnificent country music festival that in 2013 broke new ground on the NSW North Coast and has grown to become one of the must see events on the Australian country music calendar.

The artists for the 2019 line up have been confirmed:
Adam Harvey, Runaway Dixie, Owen Blundell, Jodie Crosby, Peter and the Coad Sisters, Reg Poole OAM, John O'Dea, Terry Gordan OAM, The Gunbarrel Highwaymen, Chris Callaghan, Rodney Vincent, Dave Prior, Johnny Greenwood, Shaza Leigh, Lindsay Butler, Kross Kut Showband, Peggy Gilchrist, Lindsay Waddington, Wayne and The Riley Boys, Ray Essery and Friends.

The muster will serve up country hospitality including a canteen packed with mouth watering, home grown produce.

Prizes are available for people who would like to perform, including a AUD2,000 recording package from Kross Kut Records for the best Walk-Up Artist.
