The Jugiong Pool is located in the heart of the village. The pool is open seasonally from October until February and offers residents and visitors the opportunity to cool down on hot summer's days.
The pool is located in a quiet shady area close to Jugiong's major attractions and RV camp ground.

Sergeant Parry Memorial


The memorial commemorates Sergeant Edmund Parry who was shot by the bush ranger Johnny Gilbert near the village of Jugiong.

In November 1864 ,the deadly combination of Johnny Gilbert, Ben Hall and John Dunn held up a mail coach between Gundagai and Jugiong and in the ensuing melee shot and killed the 32 year-old Edmund Parry. When the bush rangers tried to hold up the mail coach both Parry and Inspector O`Neil, who were riding as armed escorts, returned fire. Parry was killed. O`Neil survived because he ran out of bullets and had to surrender. Johnny Gilbert was killed by police in 1865 and is buried at Binalong.

The memorial includes a plaque, sculpture and information on events in the lead up to the murder.

Jugiong Art Exhibition


The Parish of Jugiong is holding its eighth biennial art exhibition and sale at the Jugiong Memorial Hall in November. This is a fund raising event for the ongoing maintenance and repairs to the historic Jugiong Catholic Church.

This year they are proud to have Kyah Wilson as their Feature Artist.

They intend to have a large variety of works including paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints. This will add a lot of interest and make it a most exciting exhibition.

Wired Open Labs: Wreath Weaving workshop


Now in its third year, the 2019 Wired Open Labs workshop series continues to engage outstanding Australian artists and artisans who provide unique experiences to suit every creative appetite.

Offered throughout the Eastern Riverina and South West Slopes these workshops cater to beginners through to experienced artists.

In this class you will learn about harvesting willow and its history of use in woven forms; basic willow weaving techniques and how to apply them to different shapes; and how to weave onto an existing frame template, creating a visually striking piece specific to the festive season.

Each participant will take home a handmade decorative willow wreath in time for the festive season, woven using locally sourced willow.

Gundagai Rodeo


The Gundagai Rodeo is a premier event on the national rodeo circuit, being held at the Gundagai Rodeo Grounds on O.I. Bell Drive.
