Oura Beach Reserve

Oura Beach Reserve is a great spot to take in the Murrumbidgee River.

Located around 20 minute drive from Wagga Wagga, the reserve is perfect for camping, fishing, or just enjoying a day out by the river with a picnic.

Pull up a seat on the Ageless Oura artwork, installed in 2016, which frames views of the river. Hand crafted by Wagga Wagga artist John Wood, these hardwood timber seats are framed by rust coloured steel rings which blend beautifully into the landscape.

Ashculme Textiles

Ashculme Textiles invites you to discover and learn all things alpacas. On your visit you will hear about the family of eight alpacas that call Ashculme Textiles home and how their fleeces get turned into product.

Fleeces get sent to a local mill where they expertly turn it into the fine yarn you see in the ponchos, wraps and scarves. Their soon-to-come sustainable fashion eco line will be produced solely from their own alpacas, those of a select few neighbouring farms and processed locally.

They will be true paddock-to-product items that have travelled no further than 300 kilometres.
