Hepburn Regional Park

Hepburn Regional Park is located around the famous mineral springs townships of Daylesford, Hepburn and Hepburn Springs. Here you will find natural mineral springs and relics of the gold mining era set in delightful bush surroundings.

The sheltered extinct volcanic crater of Mount Franklin provides ideal surroundings for a picnic or short term camping. Panoramic views can be obtained from the summit and there is a scenic walking track along the rim of the crater.

Garden of St Erth

The Garden of St Erth is a beautiful historic house and garden not far from Daylesford and Ballarat.

Friendsurance Ride Daylesford

Friendsurance Ride Daylesford, a recreational ride for everyone.

Starting in Daylesford, over 2,000 cyclists will ride in this inaugural event through the beautiful countryside of Hepburn, Macedon Ranges and Mount Alexander Shires. The ride will pass the towns of Kyneton, Malmsbury, Elphinston, Faraday, Taradale, Harcourt, Walmer, Maldon, Newstead, Franklinford, and Hepburn Springs before returning to Daylesford.

The course will have reduced speed limits and traffic management on intersections to create a safe course for both cyclists and cars. Suggested detours will be in place to keep through traffic off the course.

Duck Down Pickers: Queen's Birthday Weekend

Daylesford Cider secretly have a few favourites, and its no surprise that these three chaps are up there for them. They love their style, the wide assortment of instruments and their quirky characters.

James Bennett Live

James Bennet is an Alternative Roots/ Folk artist from Newcastle NSW. No stranger to playing live, James incorporates 12 and six string guitars, weissenborn lap steel, stomp box and harmonica into his performances and has been playing to audiences across the east coast of Australia for the last seven years.

So it is no surprise that Daylesford Cider are a little excited about his arrival at their cellar door in May. Their doors open at 11:00am, with the kitchen open from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and live music from midday.

This is a free event, however bookings are strongly recommended especially if you want a table near the music or in the main dining. Expect hearty menu, log fire and warm spiced cider.

Daylesford Regional Visitor Information Centre

Situated in the heart of the Spa Country the Daylesford Regional Visitor Information Centre is the perfect place to commence your visit to this wonderful region.

Whether you are here for a day or a week, their friendly volunteer staff members will be able to provide you with information on accommodation, attractions, things to see and do, events, eating out, regional information and much more.

Located in the old fire station building, walking into the centre is like walking into another world. The interpretive mineral water display includes an educational and informative video, and a showcase area displaying information on many of the attractions the area has to offer.

Available free to hire from the Daylesford Regional Visitor Information Centre is the TrailRider - All Terrain Wheelchair. This allows those visitors who have limited mobility to access walking tracks and trails that they would not normally be able to access. Contact them to get more information. Bookings essential.
