Lake Benanee


Lake Benanee is a large freshwater lake 13 kilometres east of Euston. Euston and its sister, the Victorian border town of Robinvale, straddle a particularly scenic stretch of the Murray as Australia's most important river twists and turns through a mosaic of citrus orchards and vineyards.

Lake Benanee has a beach area, public toilets and an Information Bay and is easily seen and accessed from the Sturt Highway.

Dinosaurs are coming to town. Get up close and personal with a life sized T-Rex.

Dinosaur Time Machine incorporates up to date science and discoveries made about dinosaurs and the world that they lived in, incorporating circus, puppetry, simple narrative and imaginative play in this unique educational theatre production, aimed at children aged three to nine years of age.

Dinosaur Time Machine excites its young audiences about science while at the same time stimulate creativity, by delivering an educational show full of facts while utilising the concept of imaginative play to encourage kids to use their imagination.

Mallee Almond Blossom Festival


The Mallee Almond Blossom Festival is an annual event which coincides with the largest explosion of almond blossom in the southern hemisphere.

The Festival is held on the third Sunday in August at the Robinvale Community Centre, on the picturesque banks of the Murray River.

Come prepared for a wonderfully relaxing day sampling and purchasing local produce. Enjoy live entertainment, food and wine, giveaways and activities for all ages.

Be sure to book your spot on one of the free almond farm tours running throughout the day where you can admire the fields of beautiful white blossom as your guide shares a wealth of knowledge about the local almond industry.
