Lilac Hill Park

Each year in October/November, an international cricket match is held at Lilac Hill Park.

Lilac Hill Park is transformed, with tiered seating and marquees erected for the crowds that come to soak up the sun and sporting atmosphere.

Lilac Hill Park is just across the bridge from the Guildford town centre and marks the beginning of the tourist drive through the Swan Valley.

The area has three ovals and picnic area by the river. Facilities include electric and wood barbecues, tables and seats, toilets, tap water and children's playground.

Caversham Wildlife Park

Showcasing one of the largest collections of native fauna in Western Australia, Caversham Wildlife Park invites you to experience magical close encounters with Australia's cutest inhabitants. Maalinup Aboriginal Gallery

Woodbridge (1885)

Woodbridge (1885) is a beautiful heritage building overlooking the Swan River near the historic town of Guildford. Stop in to enjoy a cup of tea in the old coach house adjacent to Woodbridge, which is now a tea-room and gift shop.

Take a look around the impressive two-storey residence which features white iron lacework, wide verandas and a central tower. Its interior has been carefully restored and furnished to reflect the late Victorian and early Edwardian periods.

Woodbridge House was built in 1885 for Charles Harper and family, the house was considered one of the most gracious in Western Australia. It remained a private home until 1920 when it became a private school.

Located just 30 minutes east of Perth. Guildford is well worth a day trip to soak up the historic beauty, traditional landscapes and friendly village atmosphere. Spend some time combing through antique shops or just wandering the main street admiring the old buildings.

Cyclo Sportif Swan Valley

Cyclo Sportif Swan Valley will be held in the heart of the luscious Swan Valley wine region at Oakover Grounds.

The course combines the best of flat and fast roads with A distance (96km includes challenging climb on Haddrill Rd), B distance (68km) and C distance (34km).

Midland Farmers Market

Midland Farmers Markets is the second oldest and longest running market in Perth with a range of fresh fruit and a variety of vegetables. They have been around for about 37 years and contrary to what some people think, apart from a huge selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, there is much, much more to see (and buy of course). They now have some form of entertainment most weeks whether it be a band, a balloon artist or something a bit different.

Finger limes are bushtucker food known as the caviar of citrus and can be found at the Midland Farmers Market, along with other goodies like fruit and vegetables, baked goods, olive oil, jams, pickles, coffee, cake, plants, flowers, pet supplies, fashion and accessories.
