At approximately 9.30am depart for the drive into McLaren Vale, arriving at about 10.15am start with a 4WD tour into ancient Onkaparinga Gorge to marvel at geology that dates back 600 million years and spectacular views over the coast and vineyards. Yangarra Estate. The Yangarra philosophy centres on producing wines solely from their single vineyard estate. Experience one of the region’s most hallowed wineries and a tasting of their very best wines in their private tasting lounge. Lunch is at Red Poles. After lunch head to one of the best in the Vale for a masterclass overlooking the estate at Bekkers Fine Wine. Take a tour of the d‘Arenberg Cube, the avant-garde, Rubik’s Cube inspired cellar door. Drive to the beach to see spectacular Fleurieu Peninsula coastline before returning to Adelaide at approximately 5.30pm.
